ESG & B CORP

As a vegan, ethical startup, we are committed to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into everything we do — not just as a responsibility, but as the heart of who we are. Here's where we stand today, and where we’re heading for tomorrow.
Environment
We’re deeply aware that every choice we make has an environmental impact.
Today
Our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, meaning no harm to animals, and our supply chain is designed with sustainability in mind. Where possible, we prioritise suppliers who share our values and actively seek low-impact materials and processes.
Currently, we partner with a supplier based in the European Union who shares our values of ethical production and environmental care. While international transport is necessary at this stage of our business, we recognise that it carries a carbon footprint — and we are taking responsibility for that impact.
To help balance our current emissions, we offset our carbon output by supporting tree-planting and climate action projects through a UK-based organisation recognised for its transparent, impactful work. Through this environment partner, we’ll directly fund reforestation and verified carbon reduction initiatives that contribute to a healthier planet. We’ll tell you more about this later!
However, we know that offsetting is only part of the solution. As we grow, our focus is firmly on reducing our emissions wherever possible — from choosing lower-carbon shipping options to working towards sourcing closer to home.
Tomorrow
We are committed to continuously reducing our carbon footprint, moving towards100% renewable energy across our supply chain, and eliminating plastic wherever possible. We aim to only partner with fulfillment and production companies that meet strong environmental standards. As part of our growth journey, we're working towards B Corp certification — which means holding ourselves accountable to the highest verified standards of environmental performance.
Social

Kindness drives our business — not just in what we create, but in how we work.
Today
We’re unshakable optimists. We’re creating a community which champions the voices of people affected by hygiene poverty. The Hygiene Bank’s 2024 Hygiene Poverty Report highlights that 4.2 million adults in the UK are impacted. That’s 4.2 million too many.
The struggle is real, and most of us soak, slather and scent our bodies every day in our luxury of choice, without a second thought. Everybody deserves this. So, our giving programme Kintopia Kindness is one of the ways we show how much we care. We’ll match every product you buy and donate it through one of our impact partners.
Our volunteer Kintopians will love working with us because we offer:
- Fully flexible hours and a work from anywhere policy
- Mental health breaks plus nap encouragement
- Monthly Kin Beauty allowance
- Quarterly wellness allowance for self-care
- Opportunities to grow, learn and glow – personally and professionally
- Radical autonomy and community ethos
We are also proud to work with a fulfillment partner who is dedicated to employing and empowering adults with learning and physical disabilities, mental health challenges and autism.
Tomorrow
Our goal is to deepen our social impact by expanding our partnerships with ethical and inclusive organisations, and ensuring our workplace remains welcoming, flexible, and supportive as we grow. We aspire to lead by example, with positive social change being a natural feature of our everyday business operations.
Governance

Good governance means making choices that are transparent, ethical, and always in service of our mission.
Today
As a founder-led business, ethical decision-making is baked into every level of our operations. We carefully select our partners, suppliers to ensure alignment with our values of compassion, respect, and responsibility. At Kintopia Beauty, we believe that true sustainability means being open about where we are today and committed to doing better every step of the way.
We are proud to be honest about our journey and determined to keep improving.
Tomorrow
As we scale, we’re committed to formalising governance structures that will ensure long-term integrity — including ESG reporting, impact measurement, and developing a Code of Ethics that every team member and partner lives by. We know strong governance isn't just about compliance — it's about trust, leadership, and long-term change. Our long-term goal is not only to fully offset but to genuinely lower our environmental footprint, as part of our broader commitment to achieving B Corp-level sustainability standards.
We’re proud of where we are, excited about where we’re going, and committed to growing with transparency, humility, and purpose.
